President Osmani: Those who are missing are the deepest wound of the war

The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, on the National Day of the Forcibly Disappeared, remembered our citizens who were forcibly disappeared during the war by the Serbian genocidal regime.

President Osmani wrote:

Those who are missing are the deepest wound of the war. Justice for them is our promise that never fades.

On the National Day of the Forcibly Disappeared, with deep pain and respect we remember our citizens who were forcibly disappeared during the war by the Serbian genocidal. Each name on that list is a life violently stopped, a family that awaits, a wound that seeks healing, an anguish that never fades.

Even 26 years after the crimes committed, Serbia refuses to open the archives where the data on the forcibly disappeared and mass graves are found. This refusal is a daily repetition of the crime, not only against the victims, but also against their families and against all of Kosovo.

Therefore, our fight for justice will never stop.

We remember with honor and demand justice with determination.
