The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, said that April 14th is not only a day of remembrance, but also a day of seeking justice, raising voices for thousands of women, men and children who suffered sexual violence during the war by the Serbian genocidal regime.

April 14th is not only a day of remembrance, but also a day of seeking justice, raising voices for thousands of women, men and children who suffered sexual violence during the war by the Serbian genocidal regime.
Their resilience and courage are an inspiration to each one of us. Vasfije, Shyrete and many other women, and now Ramadan Nishori and many men, never gave up in the face of pain. They chose to become a voice for themselves and for all those who still cannot speak. They became the voice of truth and justice.
On this journey, we will be side by side with all of the survivors, today and every day. The wounds are still open, but our fight for justice will never cease.
