16 members of the Bogujevci, Duriqi and Llugaliu families, among whom were children and women, were cruelly killed by the forces of the Serbian genocidal regime of Serbia on March 28th, 1999, in Podujevë.
They were children holding toys in their hands and mothers hugging them tightly, trying to protect them from evil. But, crime had a face, had a uniform and was carried out with state orders to exterminate them without distinction of age or gender. The massacre of the Bogujevci, Duriqi and Llugaliu families is evidence of the organized strategy of a regime that committed unimaginable crimes against the Albanian people.
Without justice, the wounds remain open and the pain is repeated generation after generation.
We do not forget, so we do not stop seeking justice for them and for thousands of other victims of the Serbian genocide in Kosovo.
Glory to the fallen, justice for the victims!
