On the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kosovo, President Vjosa Osmani received a congratulatory message from the President of Estonia Alar Karis. In his message, President Karis emphasized the excellent relations that exist today between the two countries and expressed his desire to strengthen the friendship further in the coming years, especially in the areas of digitalization and e-government. He reiterated Estonia’s continued support for the enlargement of the European Union and the integration of Kosovo into international organizations, confirming the readiness to share Estonia’s experience in the EU integration process and related reforms.
Referring to the recent meeting with President Osmani at the Munich Security Conference, President Karis expressed hope that the discussion has provided new impetus for future cooperation and that the initiatives discussed will pave the way for meaningful cooperation in key areas of mutual interest.
