The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, upon a proposal by the Judicial Council of Kosovo, today decreed 31 judges with an initial mandate, almost half of them women.
At the swearing-in ceremony before the President of the Republic, the new judges swore that: “they will remain loyal to the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, the laws in force and will respect the rules of professional ethics, as well as faithfully perform their duties in an independent, professional and impartial manner “.
President Osmani emphasized that the integrity, independence, impartiality and professionalism of judges are essential elements for a justice system that guarantees equality for all and ensures civic trust.
