The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, during her visit to Paris, was received by the FIFA president Gianni Infantino, with whom she discussed the presentation of Kosovo’s competitors at the Olympic Games to date, as well as the possibilities for support by this organization to the development of the sports infrastructure of our state.
Special emphasis at the meeting was given to the support of girls’ football as well as cooperation in specific projects.
In this context, Madam President laid out the need for the construction of new sports fields in the function of the development of sports and growth of young talents.
The FIFA president Infantino said that this sports organization is ready that for each sports field built in Kosovo, FIFA offers the construction of a new field. Cooperation in sports programs in schools as well as other fields was also discussed at the meeting.
