The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, held a meeting with the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku, in order to discuss the latest developments in the country.<\/p>\n
At the meeting with the LDK head, President Osmani informed Mr. Abdixhiku with the developments in the field of security and foreign policy.<\/p>\n
In this context, President Osmani thanked all the opposition entities for their support to the security institutions in facing the Serbian aggression.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, President Osmani and Mr. Abdixhiku discussed the Draft Statute of the Association and in this context, reiterated that the Constitutional Court is the institution that should evaluate the constitutionality, guided by the principle of independence and professionalism.<\/p>\n
Mr. Abdixhiku informed the President with the concerns held by LDK regarding the content of the Draft Statute, and the possibilities for dealing with these concerns were discussed in order not to allow ambiguities that could damage the internal functioning of the Republic of Kosovo.<\/p>\n
Meeting invitations have also been conveyed to other opposition entities. The institution of the Presidency remains open for coordination with parties and institutions on matters of national importance.<\/p>\n
