The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani met with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen in Brussels, where the European Union and the Western Balkans leaders summit is taking place.<\/p>\n

At the meeting with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen in Brussels I reiterated the need to lift the EU measures against Kosovo while emphasizing the importance of granting Kosovo the EU membership candidate country status, as a clear signal that freedom-loving democratic countries, those committed to European values, have their place in the EU.<\/p>\n
