The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, received yesterday in a farewell meeting the ambassador of Albania Qemal Minxhozi, whom she thanked for his engagement and wished him success in his future positions.<\/p>\n
On the occasion of the end of his mandate, President Osmani thanked Ambassador Minxhozi for his engagement throughout the years on the continuous advancement of relations between our two sister states. Madam President the cooperation, as well as the commitment of Ambassador Minxhozi to bring the citizens of our countries closer together.<\/p>\n
President Osmani stated that cooperation between Kosovo and Albania, especially in the unification of foreign policy, remains a priority, saying that the continuous strengthening of diplomatic coordination is in the interest not only of our countries but also of the region as a whole. In this spirit, the President also mentioned the need to continue the expansion of the economic cooperation between our two countries.<\/p>\n
The latest developments in the country and the region, as well as Serbia’s act of aggression against the Republic of Kosovo, were also discussed at the meeting, with President Osmani emphasizing the importance of Albania being our voice in all international instances where Kosovo still no representation.<\/p>\n
