Prior to assuming the office of the new KFOR Commander, the President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani yesterday received Major General \u00d6zkan Uluta\u015f, accompanied by the current Commander, Major General Angelo Michele Ristuccia.<\/p>\n
On this occasion, President Osmani expressed full confidence in the close cooperation with General Uluta\u015f during his leadership of KFOR, in attainment of common goals for peace and security in Kosovo and in the region.<\/p>\n
President Osmani also emphasized at the meeting the need for increasing and expansion of cooperation between KFOR and the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, in order to effectively manage the challenges of the regional security environment and beyond.
