The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, in the continuation of the bilateral meetings within the Brdo-Brijuni Process, met with the President of Croatia Zoran Milanovi\u0107.<\/p>\n
President Osmani emphasized that Croatia is one of Kosovo’s key allies in the region and within the Euro-Atlantic structures, and that the relations between the two states are built on the ties of friendship that historically exist between the two states. She expressed her gratitude for all the support that Croatia has provided to the strengthening of the state of Kosovo.<\/p>\n
The two leaders also discussed the situation in Kosovo and the region, reiterating the commitment to peace and stability. President Osmani informed President Milanovic with the security challenges in the north of the country, being caused by illegal structures that are organized, paid and encouraged by Serbia.<\/p>\n
President Osmani also reiterated Kosovo’s intention to join the EU, NATO and the Council of Europe, where Kosovo’s application is currently being processed within the Parliamentary Assembly. She appreciated the support from Croatia as crucial to all these processes.<\/p>\n
The meeting of the two presidents within the Brdo-Brijuni Process was also focused on the commitment of Kosovo and Croatia to the promotion of regional cooperation, addressing vital issues such as European integration, the perspective of young people and other topics of mutual interest.<\/p>\n
