The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received at a farewell meeting the director of the German Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung office in Kosovo Rene Schlee, as well as the newly appointed director, Dr. Peter Hurrelbrink for an introductory meeting.<\/p>\n
President Osmani highly praised the FES’s contribution in continuous support to the country’s institutions, capacity building and political empowerment of young people and women, as well as the implementation of many programs to the benefit of the citizens of Kosovo. In addition, President Osmani thanked Mr. Schlee for the genuine cooperation between the Office of the President and the FES office in Kosovo during the last edition of the International Women, Peace and Security Forum, cooperation which was reconfirmed for this year’s edition as well.<\/p>\n
