The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani commemorated the 24th anniversary of the Battle of \u00c7abrat, where 26 fighters of the 137th “Gjakova” Brigade of the Kosovo Liberation Army, and nearly 100 civilians were ruthlessly killed by the Serbian genocidal machinery and over 300 were forcibly kidnapped.<\/p>\n

26 fighters of the 137th “Gjakova” Brigade of the Kosovo Liberation Army, 24 years ago fell heroically in the Battle of \u00c7abrat, in their endeavours to help their fellow citizens, who were subjected for three consecutive days to criminal acts by the Serbian genocidal regime.<\/p>\n
Nearly 100 civilians were brutally killed by the Serbian genocidal machine, over 300 were forcibly kidnapped as the war for the protection of the motherland raged everywhere, just a month before Kosovo was liberated.<\/p>\n
The KLA martyrs are the seal of the eternity of our state and we will always remember them with respect!<\/p>\n
