The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga took part today at the celebration on the occasion of the birthday of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, organized by the British Embassy in Prishtina.<\/p>\n

\nThe birthday of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, reminds us of the power of the British democracy, which combines traditional values with the modern parliamentary democracy.

\nThe message that the Republic of Kosovo takes is that the interest of the nation and the country are above all other interests, and that with a good will and just goals, all the interests can be harmonized and the pride and honor of a country can be preserved.

\nThe United Kingdom has always stood by our side, supporting Kosovo and its people. The great help during the 90s is unforgettable. Very valued by my people is the support given by the United Kingdom to the consolidation of the state of Kosovo, functioning of its institutions, promoting democratic processes and in the process of recognitions, as well as the factorization of my country in the international arena.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
