The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga returned today from the visit to the United States, where she participated in the Summit “Women in the World”, organized by “Daily Beast” and “Newsweek”.<\/p>\n

In addition to participating in the conference “Women in the world”, where over two thousand participants were present, women leaders and key figures from various fields of life, President Jahjaga held a lecture in Dartmouth College of Hanover in the U.S., on “Successes and challenges of the state building process in Kosovo”, and a speech during her visit to St. George Cathedral in Boston.<\/p>\n

During this visit, President Jahjaga had a very important series of meetings. She met with the Secretary of State of the United States, Mrs. Hillary Clinton, former Secretary Madeline Albright, Ambassador Frank Wisner, and a number of important personalities.<\/p>\n

Also, President Atifete Jahjaga met today in Istanbul with the President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Abdullah Gul.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
