The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga participated today in the action “To clean up Kosovo”, in “Dardania” neighborhood of Prishtina near the school “Xhemajl Mustafa”.<\/p>\n
In the activity of cleaning the environment, an initiative this which has started in over 100 countries worldwide and where the Republic of Kosovo is included as well, in “Dardania” neighborhood of Prishtina, President Jahjaga was together with the Prime Minister, Mr. Hashim Tha\u00e7i and the Mayor of the municipality of Prishtina, Mr. Isa Mustafa.<\/p>\n
President Jahjaga hereby stated that this action to clean the environment should continue on a regular basis.<\/p>\n
“Today we have come to support such an initiative, because Kosovo is our homeland and each of us wishes to have a more beautiful, better and cleaner residence, neighborhood and city.<\/p>\n
It’s a very good initiative to the Republic of Kosovo, which has been attached as well, an initiative that has already begun in over 100 other countries and which has the voluntary aspect of various citizens, which is an initiative called “Let’s Do It World”.<\/p>\n
Such an initiative, which began also in Kosovo, is to be welcomed, and I hope that this activity will continue in the future. And not only today, based on goodwill, not only in Prishtina, but in all other towns in the Republic of Kosovo, this initiative should continue and be maintained as such, because we all want Kosovo to be clean and should keep it clean.<\/p>\n
This has also to do with the aspect of the awareness of people, because it is not the work of one day, but it is a chore, since we want to have a cleaner environment, for a better and healthier life for all the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo”.
