\nHonorable citizens of the Republic of Kosovo,<\/p>\n
Republic of Kosovo today, has written a new page of its history, in removing the supervision of its independence, a joint success of its people, its leadership and of the help and support of the international community and work of International Missions here in Kosovo.<\/p>\n
We are continuing to build our state, a democratic state of all the citizens, a good neighbor, with strong international friends as United States of America and European Union, a state with a clear vision of its future.<\/p>\n
We are strengthening the foundations of the state that is based on the rule of law, a base principle in building of a just and healthy society that will offer its citizens a safe and prosperous life.<\/p>\n
Our way ahead is clear. All of us-the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo- see our future in the European Union and are determined to make this come true.<\/p>\n
The future of the whole western Balkans is part of this vision and in cooperation between countries and people.<\/p>\n
Reciprocal relationships will determine our steps towards the integrational processes and solutions will be found only through dialogue between us, where we will stand among equals, among partners. This is a century of integrations and not of divisions and a century where we lend our hands and do not hate.<\/p>\n
Kosovo is homeland of all of us, its citizens, in each and every corner of its territory.<\/p>\n
Now is the time to expand our reforms, for our own sake and for the sake of our children. Time to strengthen the system of good values of a strong and stable State.<\/p>\n
Now is the time to prove that we are able to take on the responsibilities for this state of ours and for our citizens, for our cultural, religious and historic values. To show that Kosovo is a place of equal opportunities for each citizen. To guarantee a collective life in this collective state of ours and to collectively find solutions for our internal issues.<\/p>\n
By taking on the full competencies with additional legal and constitutional responsibilities, we make our historic aspirations come true, we attain the individual rights and rights of communities and we build a modern, multinational, democratic and all encompassing state.<\/p>\n
In the coming period we will be focusing on economic development, reform of the educational and\u00a0 health systems, reform of the public administration, war on organized crime and corruption in order to become a place where rule of law and order prevail.<\/p>\n
Republic of Kosovo will successfully conclude the Euro-Atlantic Integration process, and will become member of the United Nations Organization, European Union and NATO and will take all the responsibilities for regional and global issues as an international subject. <\/p>\n
The future is in our own hands. We will build this future according to highest standards of democracy, devoted, dedicated and united with the support of our international friends.<\/p>\n
On behalf of all the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and of its institutions, I thank you and express our exceptional respect for the continuous support for all the processes our country has been through.<\/p>\n
I thank the United States of America, countries of the European Union, neighboring countries, NATO, KFOR, EULEX, UNMIK, OSCE and European Commission. I thank all the individuals who have contributed for Kosovo to become what it is today, a successful project.<\/p>\n
