President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga received today, at a farewell meeting, the Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Werner Almhofer.<\/p>\n
President Jahjaga thanked Ambassador Almhofer for his contribution to Kosovo, as the Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo. Recent developments in Kosovo, with a special accent on the ending of the supervision of the independence and institutional capacity building, were discussed at the meeting, developments in which OSCE played an important role.<\/p>\n
Ambassador Almhofer emphasized the importance of reforms for Kosovo, in compliance with the European criteria, specifically mentioning the electoral reform, which he classified as a very important one.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, President Jahjaga stated that the reforms which Kosovo will undertake are in the interest of its citizens, of the state and in the interest of the institutions of Kosovo.
