It is a place of a trust in individuals and of righteousness between people, a place of religious respect and tolerance.<\/p>\n
Honourable representatives of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo,
\nHonourable leaders of the Islamic Community of Kosovo,
\nHonourable Mufti Trnava,
\nHonourable representatives of other religious communities,
\nHonourable participants and religious devotees,
\nHonourable citizens, <\/p>\n

It is a place of a trust in individuals and of righteousness between people, a place of religious respect and tolerance.<\/p>\n
This fusion of religious and cultural values has provided to Kosovo and its citizens with an added characteristic, the one of bravery to cohabitate in diversity and to jointly work and contribute for a more progressive future.<\/p>\n
Our state is a lay state, built upon civic principles that guarantees each right to every individual and every community, including the freedom of religion as a democratic right. Our state is a multicultural and multiethnic one, an all inclusive one, which respects the will of its citizens and at the same time respects the responsibilities and contributions of each individual, towards creation of a better and free life of each citizen.<\/p>\n
Religion in Kosovo today is a promoter of peace and wisdom, of cohabitation and solidarity between people, a connecting bridge between the communities. Religion can help built our common present while paving the way for the future of our all inclusive state.<\/p>\n
The foundations that are being laid today are not only the foundations of a religious building, they are much more than that- they are the foundations of a building\u00a0 that will help the\u00a0 religious followers in their religious life as well as all the citizens of Kosovo that seek to increase their knowledge on religion.<\/p>\n
