President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs Atifete Jahjaga received today at a meeting the British High Commissioner to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, Mr Paul Brummell.<\/p>\n
President Jahjaga stated that this year was very successful for Kosovo, as the process of the supervision of its independence has ended and the European perspective of Kosovo has been made clearer.<\/p>\n
She also said that Kosovo continues to be a promoter of peace and stability in the region and promoter of good neighbourly relations with all countries. Madam President stated that the process of the normalisation of relations with Serbia has begun through the dialogue process facilitated by EU and strongly supported by the USA and emphasized the importance of commencement of the implementation of the Integrated Border Management Agreement. <\/p>\n
President Jahjaga thanked Mr. Brummell for the concrete help provided to the process of recognition by the countries of the Caribbean.<\/p>\n
British High Commissioner emphasized the continuation of the support provided by the government of his country for Kosovo on the international arena consolidation as well as for the Euro-Atlantic integration and other processes that Kosovo is going through.
