President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga participated at the awarding of the prize for best innovations in the field of alternative and sustainable energy for 2013, under the auspices of the World Energy Summit being held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n

President Jahjaga took part at the ceremony together with the President of Iceland Mr. Olafur Ragnar Grimsson, Queen Rania of Jordan and many other international and Emirati leaders.<\/p>\n

One of the “Zayed future energy prizes”, awarded in five categories- awarded for the innovations in small and medium size companies, was presented by President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, to this year’s winners, “D. Light”, a company from United States of America.<\/p>\n

This category had attracted many applications from a large number of worldwide companies.<\/p>\n

Organisers had foreseen that the prizes will be awarded only by senior personalities participating at the summit and by Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi himself.<\/p>\n

The award ceremony takes place at the\u00a0 first working day of the “World Future Energy Summit”, which this year commenced its proceedings on Tuesday,\u00a0 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, under the patronage of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
