Tonight, as we did one year ago, we are gathered to attend this charity concert, because we believe that through our generosity, we may improve the lives of citizens who face challenges, who have less opportunities than others, but who are an inseparable part of our society.<\/p>\n

\nHonourable Representatives of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo,
\nHonourable Representatives of the Diplomatic Missions accredited in the Republic of Kosovo,
\nHonourable participants,
\nCitizens of the Republic of Kosovo;<\/p>\n
Tonight, as we did one year ago, we are gathered to attend this charity
\nconcert, because we believe that through our generosity, we may improve
\nthe lives of citizens who face challenges, who have less opportunities
\nthan others, but who are an inseparable part of our society.<\/p>\n
We are gathered here, aware that we can change and improve their reality.<\/p>\n
We are all members of the Kosovar society and we have the responsibility
\nto help and support one another, to contribute in creating
\nopportunities for a dignified life for everyone, we have the
\nresponsibility to create a society of equal opportunities.<\/p>\n
We have this power and we do this opportunity to stand by each member of this grand Kosovar family. <\/p>\n
On this special night, at this charity concert, we have all put upon us
\nthe gown of the civic dedication and we are firmly demonstrating the
\nresponsibility we feel and we are taking towards each other.
\nResponsibility that carries in itself the power to improve lives of
\npeople.<\/p>\n
I thank you and congratulate you on your civic mission.<\/p>\n
Last year we made possible, through donations, the change the reality
\nfor a part of our society who were faced by one of the major challenges
\nof the century – cancer. We offered the opportunity for access to
\nmedical services and necessary treatment- we were able to help change
\nlives.<\/p>\n
This gave us the will to continue our dedication to offer more
\nsolidarity to each other and to turn this event into an annual
\ntradition, where we all gather, representatives of all strata of our
\nsociety, united with once voice for the people who need us.<\/p>\n
I strongly believe that this year as well, with the help of your
\ndonations, we will be able to continue to help the women facing cancer,
\nand offer them the necessary services, and offer to those who are our
\nfuture, to our children, all the opportunities they lack in order not
\nallow them to leave school.<\/p>\n
We live in the same society, we share the fates of each other and hence we are responsible towards each other.<\/p>\n
I thank all of you for your contributions and for the civic responsibility you are showing. <\/p>\n
