The Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo, would like to clarify to the public that the article published by the “Z\u00ebri” daily newspaper under the heading “The Leaders which never met with Tha\u00e7i and Jahjaga”, contains a number of untruths, misrepresentation and purposeful prevarications.<\/p>\n
President of the Republic of Kosovo, throughout the whole duration of her mandate, has met a large number of world leaders in both multilateral and bilateral meetings. Since the commencement of her mandate in 2011 to date, President Jahjaga has met with US President Barack Obama under the auspices of the Summit of the Presidents in Poland, Italian President Giorgio Napolitano during the celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy, US State Secretary Hilary Clinton, the President of Switzerland at the time, in 2011, Micheline Calmy Rey, Finnish President Tarja Halonen, Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite, President of Iceland \u00d3lafur Ragnar Grimsson, Turkish President Abdullah Gul, President of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev and Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves.<\/p>\n
Also, under the auspices of the Islamic Economic Forum held in London, in October 2013, Madam President has had a working lunch with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, David Cameroon, in the company of other Summit participants.<\/p>\n
In this clarification, we will provide details of the whole activity of President Jahjaga during 2013, through which all the meetings, both multilateral and bilateral, with a number of the Presidents of the countries of the region, of the Central and Eastern Europe, as well as with Prime Ministers and Royal Highnesses of various countries.<\/p>\n
