{"id":70406,"date":"2014-02-19T13:38:49","date_gmt":"2014-02-19T13:38:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.president-ksgov.net\/clarification-issued-by-the-office-of-the-president\/"},"modified":"2023-03-07T10:29:37","modified_gmt":"2023-03-07T10:29:37","slug":"clarification-issued-by-the-office-of-the-president","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/president-ksgov.net\/en\/clarification-issued-by-the-office-of-the-president\/","title":{"rendered":"Clarification issued by the Office of the President"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>President of the Republic of Kosovo has received with apprehension the announcements made by today&#8217;s media reports that one of the pardoned convicted individuals is a repeat offender.<\/p>\n<p>The Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo would like to inform the public that Sedat Berisha has received a pardon by a Presidential decree of the President of the Republic of Kosovo on February 17th, 2014, in lieu of the adjudication of the Professional Commission on Pardon, based on the documentation and information presented by the Kosovo Correctional Service stating that the convict fulfils the criteria foreseen by the law and the Presidential regulations on pardon.<\/p>\n<p>President Jahjaga, based on the information presented in the media, has requested an urgent meeting of the Professional Commission on Pardon, to assess the concerns raised by the media.
