President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, strongly condemns the armed attack on two motor vehicles of the EULEX mission in the vicinity of the Bernjak border point, in the northern part of the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.<\/p>\n
The armed attack on EULEX mission in Kosovo is an attempt to delay the establishment of the law on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo and an attack upon its democratic order. Attack upon the members of EULEX mission is also an attempt to hold the citizens of this part of the territory of the country under tension and fear, citizens who desire the establishment of the rule of law and a more peaceful life.<\/p>\n
EULEX mission is providing help to the institutions of the country and to all citizens of Kosovo, of all communities, in establishment of the rule of law and creation of a safe place.<\/p>\n
President of the Republic of Kosovo calls upon all responsible bodies to apprehend the authors of this cowardly attack and to bring them to face justice.
