President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, sent a felicitatory telegramme to the newly elected President of Ukraine, Mr. Petro Poroshenko.<\/p>\n

On behalf of the people of the Republic of Kosovo, its institutions and my personal behalf I congratulate you on your victory as the President of Ukraine and wish you a successful term in office as you consolidate the democracy of your country and lead it toward a prosperous future.

\nIn choosing You, the people of Ukraine have spoken loud and clear, in unity, to voice their support for your vision and leadership that will ensure political unity and economic prowess, guarantors of the future successes of your country.

\nThe people of Kosovo will stand by the people of Ukraine as they work toward these goals and in achieving the much-needed reconciliation after which your country will emerge stronger. I look forward to an opportunity to discuss Kosovo’s consolidation as a state and its vision toward membership into the European Union.
