Mehmet Ag\u00eb Rashkoci is not the grandfather of President Jahjaga. The distant family connections are a coincidence.<\/p>\n<p>The decoration of Mehmet Ag\u00eb Rashkocit is made on the proposal of Cultural Patriotic Association Gjakova-Shkodra, numbering 600 members, protocoled in the Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo on November 14, 2014, and the full review of the documentation from the ad hoc Commission gathered by the Office of the President of Kosovo to consider the requests for presidential medals.<\/p>\n<p>This commission has unanimously taken the decision for Mehmet Ag\u00eb Rashkocit to be awarded the medal Order of Liberty, by joining a list of co-activists who have already been decorated for the contribution in the cause of the state building of Kosovo.<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo, for the sake of the right clarification of the public opinion states that the news published in some media that supposedly President Jahjaga has decorated her grandfather is inaccurate and unprofessional.
