Violent actions and scenes within the parliament are unacceptable and punishable, and the tools used are in contravention of basic principles of a democratic order and of a parliamentary democracy.<\/p>\n<p>I appeal to the opposition members of parliament to renounce violence. Aspirations of our country are being endangered grossly by these actions, and these acts are damaging the democracy which we have built with hard toil. I appeal to the whole democratic forum to return to normality in order for the institutions to return to normality, to continue with their work, as we have many challenges ahead of us.<\/p>\n<p>Citizens who have elected us, expect us to be an example of promoters of rule of law, of the respect of the democratic process. Dialogue is the foundation of democracy.
