President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Tha\u00e7i, received today the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Kosovo, Qemal Minxhozi, with whom he discussed concrete steps for deepening cooperation between Kosovo and Albania.<\/p>\n
“We discussed preparations and especially my full support for the meeting of the two governments that will be held on 3rd of June, in Prishtina. We also discussed our joint priorities in the full implementation of agreements reached so far, particularly with regard to economic development through tourism”, President Tha\u00e7i said.<\/p>\n
The head of state also stressed the commitment to good neighborly relations, for pece, stability and cooperation in the region as well as harmonization of joint efforts towards Euro-Atlantic integration, so that Kosovo, ensures visa liberalization, as soon as possible, now that it has met all the criteria and standards.<\/p>\n
“In the coming days we expect the positive decision from Brussels, while we continue to work so that we become part of NATO’s Partnership for Peace programme soon, and gradually, jointly come closer to the big family in Brussels, Kosovo, Albania and the whole region”, President Tha\u00e7i said, reiterating that Kosovo institutions remain committed to the comprehensive reforms in the country.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Kosovo, Qemal Minxhozi, said that President Tha\u00e7i has greatly encouraged all initiatives and of the cooperation between the two countries during the past years and in present. “I have found full support on all the issue that we discussed in terms of further deepening of institutions cooperation, spiritual cooperation, so that both Albania and Kosovo become part of the European family through reforms that the two governments have undertaken”, Ambassador Minxhozi said, expressing himself confident of greater economic development.<\/p>\n
