September 23, 2017 \u2013 The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Tha\u00e7i, has concluded his five-day visit to New York, where he has conducted numerous bilateral meetings with heads of states and of various international organizations at the United Nations General Assembly week.<\/p>\n
During his stay in New York, at the invitation of President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, President Tha\u00e7i, together with the First Lady of the State, Lumnije Tha\u00e7i, were received by the American Presidential couple, President Trump and the First Lady, Melania Trump. The Head of State had also a brief meeting with President Trump.<\/p>\n
The Head of State has met world leaders from countries which have recognized and from those which have not recognized Kosovo, where he sought support for the consolidation of the state position on the global political scene, for new recognitions of the country and for membership into important international organizations.<\/p>\n
