Prishtina, 20 December 2017 – The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Tha\u00e7i, received today the 100-days of work report of the Government of Kosovo, handed by Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj.<\/p>\n
President Tha\u00e7i praised the work performed within these 100 days, and the commitment of the Government of Kosovo towards legislation, economy and policy reforms.<\/p>\n
He stressed that the country is progressing in right track, with an increased trend and dynamics.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am grateful for your personal work, the work of your team, of all deputy prime ministers, ministers and others. Also, I can freely say that there is no better news for the Government of Kosovo, for all Kosovo institutions, for our people, that in this 100-days of government work took place the signing of an agreement that has been worked on for a very long time, namely the Agreement on construction of the New Kosovo Power Plant\u201d, stressed President Tha\u00e7i.<\/p>\n
He added that this project will be a good message for coming of other investors.<\/p>\n
On his part, Prime Minister of the Country, Ramush Haradinaj, stressed that this 100-days of work report of the Government of Kosovo highlights certain works done, although there are many other works performed.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am glad that today's report also coincides with the signing of the Agreement, a contract for investment in the Power Plant “New Kosovo”, namely 1.3 billion\u00a0 Euro investment, which is the largest foreign investment, the most valuable project of Kosovo in its history and among the most valuable projects in the region and beyond\u201d, stated Prime Minister Haradinaj.<\/p>\n
He emphasized that the Republic of Kosovo will honourably assume all its responsibilities, and extended his gratitude to the President Tha\u00e7i for trust in the work of the Government of Kosovo.<\/p>\n
President Tha\u00e7i added that these 100 days represent a commitment and a work to a political, civic and multiethnic unity.<\/p>\n
The Head of the State also added that all those decisions, draft laws adopted and addressed to the Assembly of Kosovo, have been a commitment to a common seriousness of the Assembly, also of the Government, the Office of the President, of the opposition and of all institutions of the country.
