{"id":68182,"date":"2018-07-14T20:22:40","date_gmt":"2018-07-14T20:22:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.president-ksgov.net\/president-thaci-french-revolution-was-the-beginning-of-radical-changes-worldwide\/"},"modified":"2023-03-07T09:28:38","modified_gmt":"2023-03-07T09:28:38","slug":"president-thaci-french-revolution-was-the-beginning-of-radical-changes-worldwide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/president-ksgov.net\/en\/president-thaci-french-revolution-was-the-beginning-of-radical-changes-worldwide\/","title":{"rendered":"President Tha\u00e7i: French Revolution was the beginning of radical changes worldwide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Prishtina, July 14th 2018 \u2013 President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Tha\u00e7i, attended today the reception held at the Embassy of France in Kosovo, in honour of the Bastille Day, a French National Holiday.<\/p>\n<p>President Tha\u00e7i said that this is a marked day for France and the rest of freedom loving world.<\/p>\n<p>French Revolution, according to President Tha\u00e7i, was the beginning of radical changes, not only in France, but all around the world.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMessage which Paris conveyed, on Bastille Day, became a message and an aspiration for the whole freedom loving world. Liberty, equality and fraternity became the desire of the whole world, and upon its spirit, many a countries and societies were built. These values were the core of Kosovo\u2019s aspiration as well, to be free, equal with other countries, in a fraternal union with other nations\u201d said President Tha\u00e7i.<\/p>\n<p>The head of state emphasized that these values and principles do not belong only to history, but also to the present day and to the future.<\/p>\n<p>Above all, according to President Tha\u00e7i, our engagements towards installation and protection of these values have not ended as yet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen President Macron asks for EU\u2019s internal reforms, he asks for greater strengthening of liberty, equality and fraternity between EU member states. When we in Kosovo speak about normalisation of relations with Serbia and building of a sustainable peace in the South-Eastern Europe, we speak about strengthening of liberty, equality between nations and states of our region. We are grateful to France, to every man and woman who have contributed towards installation of these values in Kosovo\u201d, said the President.<\/p>\n<p>The head of state expressed his gratitude for France\u2019s support to the building of Kosovo and our multi-ethnic and tolerant society.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am happy with the fact that we have built excellent bilateral relations and that we continue to work towards expansion of this cooperation and of our friendship.
