Munich, February 16th \u2013 President of the Republic of Kosovo, at the margins of the Munich Security Conference, held a meeting with the Norwegian Prime Minister, Erna Solberg.<\/p>\n
President Tha\u00e7i thanked Prime Minister Solberg for the support that Norway has provided to Kosovo during the periods of liberty, independence and strengthening of the international subjectivity and economic development. <\/p>\n
\u201cTomorrow we mark the 11th anniversary of the Independence of Kosovo. Owing to the support provided by Norway and by our strategic partners, we have achieved to gain the freedom and independence. We shall be permanently grateful to the support you have also given during our state building period\u201d, said President Tha\u00e7i.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, Prime Minister of Norway, Erna Solberg, congratulated Kosovo on the 11th anniversary of its independence, and offered the continuation of Norwegian support.<\/p>\n
The necessity for the normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, through the achievement of a comprehensive and legally binding agreement was also discussed at the meeting.<\/p>\n
