This determination has made Shabani to be part of the patriotic movement against the rule of Yugoslavia and Serbia since the eighties of the previous century. His patriotic ideal was best revealed by the war of the Kosovo Liberation Army. Without any hesitation, Shaban Viqa turned his home in Greme into a KLA headquarter. He was one of the participants of the Epopee of Jezerc, a glorious battle of the Nerodime Operational Zone, but also in many other battles\u201d, stated President Tha\u00e7i.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of State emphasized that Shaban Viqa was a strong activist in patriotic movements of the eighties and nineties, especially within the Resistance Front.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShaban never stopped the patriotic activity.
