Brussels, April 15th 2019- President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Tha\u00e7i, continued his meetings with the Seniour representatives of the European Union.<\/p>\n
President Tha\u00e7i also met with the EU Enlargement Commissioner, Johannes Hahn, with whom he discussed the issue of visa liberalisation, dialogue on normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia and the perspective of Kosovo\u2019s and western Balkan countries membership in European Union.<\/p>\n
President Tha\u00e7i said that the lack of a clear perspective on integration is creating dangerous anti-European ideologies in the western Balkan\u2019s region.<\/p>\n
\u201cCitizens of Kosovo, as the most pro-European nation, are losing their patience. A decision on Visas this year and anew dynamics in European integrations, will return the lost faith in the EU, \u201csaid the President.<\/p>\n
The issue of the necessity of overcoming of disagreements between the countries of the western Balkans and the need to achieve the comprehensive and legally binding agreement between Kosovo and Serbia were also discussed at the meeting.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
