The Acting President of Kosovo Dr. Vjosa Osmani, in honor of the victims, placed a bouquet of flowers on the memorial plaque for the Jews on Holocaust Remembrance Day, plaque which is located in the courtyard of the Government of Kosovo.<\/p>\n
She stated that genocide against Jews is the greatest barbarism known in human history to date.<\/p>\n
“Today, we must remember and feel proud of the help that Albanians gave to the Jewish community in the years of anguish. For as long as we remember the Calvary suffered by the Jews, it is impossible to avoid the mentioning of the assistance of the state of Israel to the Kosovars forcibly expelled in the war of 1999”, said Acting President Osmani.<\/p>\n
According to Ms. Osmani, the Holocaust will be remembered forever.<\/p>\n
