The Acting President of Kosovo, at the same time Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, today paid tribute and honored the memory of the 106 martyrs who fell in the village of Pastasel in Rahovec.<\/p>\n
He said that the massacres that are being commemorated these days remind us of the high price of freedom.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn this massacre, the state of Serbia and its forces have not spared even the children. This shows what a monster Milosević\u2019s power was, but even today\u2019s Serbia, led by Aleksandar Vučić, has not detached itself from that policy\u201d, stated President Konjufca adding that the attitudes of today\u2019s Serbian politics show the same political continuity towards the state of Kosovo. \u201cWe remember that such a policy caused genocide and massacres in Rahovec, Pastasel and surrounding villages\u201d.<\/p>\n
Acting President Konjufca has said that the testimonies of the survivors of this massacre are extremely valuable, but justice has not yet taken an epilogue.<\/p>\n
