{"id":67314,"date":"2021-06-15T15:05:26","date_gmt":"2021-06-15T15:05:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.president-ksgov.net\/president-osmani-extends-the-eu-rule-of-law-mission-in-kosovo-technical-mandate\/"},"modified":"2023-03-07T09:05:56","modified_gmt":"2023-03-07T09:05:56","slug":"president-osmani-extends-the-eu-rule-of-law-mission-in-kosovo-technical-mandate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/president-ksgov.net\/en\/president-osmani-extends-the-eu-rule-of-law-mission-in-kosovo-technical-mandate\/","title":{"rendered":"President Osmani extends the EU Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo technical mandate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>President Vjosa Osmani, via a letter, informed the EU High Representative for Foreign<br \/>\nAffairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell Fontelles on the extension of the EULEX<br \/>\nmandate for another year.<\/p>\n<p>In the letter addressed to Mr. Borell, President Osmani has announced that EULEX will have a technical mandate, without executive powers, based only on monitoring, mentoring and advice, pursuant to the exchange of letters during the year 2018 and requests submitted by President Osmani in the letter submitted by her on 14 June. The same mandate can be extended for another year, in case of a positive evaluation of the work of this mission by the President of the Republic of Kosovo.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\nPresident Osmani has proposed that upon request and based on the needs identified by the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo &#8211; EU institutions provide expertise, advisory services and financial assistance in matters related to the justice reform process.
