The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani wished success to our Olympians who departed for Tokyo today.<\/p>\n
President Osmani stated that a few nights ago, at the flag handover ceremony for our Olympic team, the G\u00ebrmia pool amphitheater was flooded with unparalleled pride and with full confidence in great achievements.<\/p>\n
“At the flag handover ceremony, I congratulated and encouraged our athletes to carry the flag with pride, as it represents their state symbol, but also the pride with which they compete in these games. “With the wavings of this flag, our competitive spirit will also wave with a desire to make every citizen of the Republic proud”, said President Osmani.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the talent and diligence of our athletes, our new Republic is being represented for the second time at the Olympics with a team deserving full praise.<\/p>\n
At the flag handover ceremony, I congratulated and encouraged our athletes to carry the flag with pride, as it represents their state symbol, but also the pride with which they compete in these games. With the wavings of this flag, our competitive spirit will also wave with a desire to make every citizen of the Republic proud.<\/p>\n
The names of these 6 exceptional girls and 5 boys will forever remain engraved in the Olympic history of our country. We hope and believe that their names will resonate strongly in the competitions held this year in Tokyo, Japan.<\/p>\n
