The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani has reacted after the elimination of Majlinda Kelmendi, from the “Tokyo 2020” Olympic Games.<\/p>\n
The President said that Majlinda remains to us a permanent Olympic champion.<\/p>\n
“It is her who gave Kosovo its first splendor, her who illuminated the name of Kosovo in front of the whole world, it was her who raised our flag where no one else could reach and made our anthem be heard and honored in places that do not know us, ” pointed out President Osmani.<\/p>\n

Majlinda for us remains a permanent Olympic champion. It is her who gave Kosovo its first splendor, her who illuminated the name of Kosovo in front of the whole world, it was her who raised our flag where no one else could reach and made our anthem be heard and honored in places that do not know us.<\/p>\n
Majlinda brought Kosovo more respect than anyone else. She motivated every child, every young man, and above all every girl, to fight for her dreams and to always rise again despite the challenges.<\/p>\n
Thank you, champion, for all these and for many more. Because, what you have done for Kosovo surpasses every medal. Despite today's result, you have already made the dream of an entire nation come true.
