President Osmani expressed to Vice President Harris the eternal gratitude of the people of Kosovo for the continued support of the United States, while emphasizing that the United States remains the primary strategic partner for our country towards strengthening our statehood.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nPresident Osmani and Vice President Harris also discussed the situation with the pandemic, while President Osmani once again thanked the United States and President Biden for donating over 500,000 vaccines to Kosovo. President Osmani said such actions once again show the unwavering friendship between the two countries, and is the clearest evidence of the continued support of the United States of America for Kosovo.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nMeanwhile, Vice President Harris stated that the United States is grateful to Kosovo for its close cooperation and generosity, which is shown in Kosovo\u2019s willingness to take in thousands of Afghan citizens. VP Harris expressed the Biden administration\u2019s gratitude for Kosovo\u2019s support in this mission, and reemphasized the personal and profound connection between the Biden administration and the people of Kosovo. On this note, VP Harris conveyed her heartfelt thanks for the ceremony organized by President Osmani in honor of the late Joseph Robinette \u201cBeau\u201d Biden III.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nIn this first direct exchange between the two leaders, President Osmani used the opportunity to once again congratulate the Vice President for her new position. She stressed that the victory of the Biden-Harris team was not just a victory for the United States, but also for the entire democratic world. Furthermore, President Osmani stressed that VP Harris\u2019 appointment as the first woman Vice President of the United States will remain a milestone in modern history, and that her work and commitment serves as an inspiration to many women who aspire to be future leaders around the world.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nPresident Osmani also invited Vice President Harris to visit the Republic of Kosovo to see first-hand our joint successes.
