The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani said that thirty years ago, the political determination expressed in the Referendum on the independence of Kosovo from Serbia was the substantial step taken after the Declaration of July 2, the Constitution of Ka\u00e7anik and finally, the precursor to February 17th, 2008.<\/p>\n

“On September 26th 1991, Kosovo's journey took the direction aimed by many a generation, towards becoming a state under the wise leadership of the historic president, Dr. Ibrahim Rugova,” said President Osmani.<\/p>\n

Thirty years ago, the political determination expressed in the Referendum on Kosovo's independence from Serbia was a substantial step after the Declaration of 2 July, the Constitution of Ka\u00e7anik and lately the precursor to February 17th 2008.<\/p>\n

On September 26, 1991, Kosovo's journey took the direction aimed by many a generation, towards becoming a state under the wise leadership of the historic president, Dr. Ibrahim Rugova.<\/p>\n

On this anniversary, we respectfully remember all those who organized the Referendum, one of the events, which laid the initial foundations of the state of Kosovo!
