President Osmani congratulated Mrs. Spanca on her new tenure and wished her lots of success at work.<\/p>\n<p>The President emphasized the important role of the National Audit Office, and encouraged the Auditor General to work towards increasing of transparency and public accountability. The President also stressed the need for fulfilment of the constitutional and legal mandate of the NAO, ensuring that public money is properly managed.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe Auditor-General informed Madam President with the work, activities and challenges faced by the NAO.
