The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani Sadriu laid a wreath at the “Heroines” memorial, on the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence during the war.<\/p>\n

President Osmani said that today and forever, we stand together with thousands of women and men survivors of sexual violence during the war in Kosovo.<\/p>\n

We stand together, today and forever, with the thousands of women and men who survived the sexual violence during the war in Kosovo, who went through the horrors of the crimes of Milosevic's genocidal regime. They continue to boldly present the truth and have turned pain into power, thus becoming our heroines.<\/p>\n

On the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence during the War, we reiterate that our efforts to bring the perpetrators of this horrific crime to justice will never cease.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
