The forum will bring to Kosovo leaders from the region and the world, academics, representatives of international organizations, civil society and personalities responsible for the implementation of this agenda.<\/p>\n<p>The organization of this international Forum is one of the commitments of the Summit for Democracy. The forum aims to clearly convey the message that women&#039;s peace and security are the central pillars of Kosovo&#039;s vision for sustainable peace at the local, regional and global levels.<\/p>\n<p>The WPS Forum will take place at a time when peace, freedom and security are under attack in the heart of Europe, as women and girls are once again at the centre of violence, torture and inhumane treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Forum will focus on &#8220;Building alliances for sustainable peace&#8221; and will serve as a platform for the exchange of best practices and lessons learned from the experiences of participating countries, the development of inclusive and gender-balanced policies as well as the design of new action frameworks in the wake of the continuous changes of the peace and security architecture in Europe and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>In this spirit, the Forum will promote a stronger role for women in all areas of life and especially towards the advancement of the WPS Agenda.<\/p>\n<p>Forum is being organized in cooperation with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Donika G\u00ebrvalla Schwarz and is supported by local and international partners.<\/p>\n<p>REGARDING ACCREDITATION: The forum will be open to local, regional and international media.
