The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, after the conclusion of the consultations with the political parties and the CEC, has set December 18th as the date of holding of the snap elections for the mayors of the North Mitrovica, Zubin Potok, Leposaviq and Zve\u00e7an municipalities.<\/p>\n
“The Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kosovo is instructed to undertake all the necessary activities for the organization and holding of the elections for Mayor of the North Mitrovica, Zubin Potok, Leposaviq and Zve\u00e7an municipalities in accordance with this decision and the law in force ” states the decision of President Osmani on setting and proclamation of the date of snap elections for the mayors of four municipalities in the north of the country.<\/p>\n
After the meeting with representatives of the political parties, President Osmani emphasized that she will convey a request to international partners for election monitoring and the largest possible international participation in this election process.<\/p>\n
President Osmani also pointed out that security institutions will undertake all necessary measures in order that citizens, regardless of ethnicity, feel protected, safe and carry out their constitutional rights.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
