This concerns, in particular, provisions related to the jurisdiction and mandate of the Specialist Chambers, as well as the full guarantee of the constitutional rights of individuals standing trial before these Chambers.<\/p>\n
In the reasoning for her decision, President Shiroka Pula highlighted the sacrifice, commitment, and contribution of the Kosovo Liberation Army and its leaders during the struggle for Kosovo\u2019s freedom and independence. She also reaffirmed her support for the Declaration issued by the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo on September 28, 2026, regarding the judgment delivered by the Specialist Chambers in The Hague concerning Hashim Tha\u00e7i, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, and Rexhep Selimi.
