The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, today received members of the \u201cSiparantum\u201d Choir following their success in Kuala Lumpur, where they won two gold medals and a special award.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, Acting President Haxhiu presented the \u201cSiparantum\u201d Choir with an award of appreciation for their dignified representation of the Republic of Kosovo on the international stage and their contribution to promoting the country\u2019s art and culture.<\/p>\n
\u201cCompeting against more than 200 choirs from different countries around the world, you performed works that carry our music, culture, and history. An important place in your repertoire is occupied by the music of Albanian composers, which you are presenting to international audiences,\u201d said Acting President Haxhiu.<\/p>\n
She highlighted the work of conductor and composer Memli Kelmendi, as well as the dedication with which the choir has been developed over the years.<\/p>\n
