The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, accompanied by the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, paid homage at the tomb of Hero Agron Rrahmani, on the 28th anniversary of his fall.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn the 28th anniversary of the fall, we respectfully commemorate the Hero of the Nation Agron Rrahmani. At a young age, he distinguished himself for his patriotic activities from Ballofc in Besiana to Prishtina.
\nHe began his activity early as a high school student in Besian\u00eb, and later continued it in parallel education in Prishtin\u00eb, Tiran\u00eb, Tetov\u00eb and many other areas, and became one of the people of daily action\u201d, said Acting President Haxhiu.<\/p>\n
According to her, Agron and his friends carried out tasks that were not always visible to the public, but without which the war could not have been won: organization, movement, preparation, networking and complete belief that Kosovo had to be liberated.<\/p>\n
\u201cAgron Rrahmani was a brave fighter, but more than that, he was also a man of military organization in the city. Before taking charge of the \u201cRexhep Mala\u201d unit in Prishtin\u00eb, he had taken on the combat training for LK\u00c7K members and volunteers, and had helped establish the training center in Tiran\u00eb, where over 300 volunteers were trained,\u201d emphasized Acting President Haxhiu.<\/p>\n
She said that in February 1998, he was appointed commander of the first underground combat unit in Prishtin\u00eb, the unit that later named \u201cRexhep Mala\u201d.<\/p>\n
