The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, on behalf of the Republic of Kosovo, has expressed her most sincere condolences to the P\u00ebllumbi family on the passing of Professor Servet P\u00ebllumbi.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will always remember Professor Servet P\u00ebllumbi as a wise man, with an unusual insight into the analysis and explanation of philosophical, political and social phenomena. Through his academic works, young generations learn and prepare for the future, while through his engagement in social life, he taught us all how to serve our country with honor, pride and great responsibility,\u201d states the Acting President Haxhiu’s condolence telegram.<\/p>\n
According to her, during the difficult years of transition in the Republic of Albania, he put his knowledge and academic potential to work towards the democratization and reform of the system.<\/p>\n
\u201cTransitional periods often produce unforgettable figures, and Professor Servet P\u00ebllumbi will always remain one. In the years 2002\u20132005, as Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania, he contributed to the strengthening of democratic institutions, the advancement of legislation and to the consolidation of parliamentarism in the country\u201d, said Acting President Haxhiu.<\/p>\n
